Heads up on moderate sex and nudity, and graphic gore. That is past what the TV-14 on the box suggests. Beyond that, some strong language and strong violence.
Our estimate: fine from about 16, higher than the TV-14 suggests, because of the gore, and sex and nudity.

Three questions
Is CSI: Miami scary?
Only a little. CSI: Miami has a few tense moments, nothing that follows you to bed.
How gory is CSI: Miami?
Graphic gore and strong violence. If graphic gore is a dealbreaker, skip it.
What is CSI: Miami rated, and is it OK for kids?
It is rated TV-14, with moderate sex and nudity, some strong language, and strong violence. Your call for older kids.
What is CSI: Miami about?
The show follows Crime Scene Investigators working for the Miami-Dade Police Department as they use physical evidence, similar to their Las Vegas counterparts, to solve grisly murders. The series mixes deduction, gritty subject matter, and character-driven drama in the same vein as the original series in the CSI franchise, except that the Miami CSIs are cops first, scientists second.
