Darkly comic and suspenseful. A full-attention watch at a brisk pace. Emotionally it is heavy.
Streaming on Prime Video.
The thing to know: brutal violence and graphic gore, more than a PG-13 usually carries. Beyond that, a few tense moments and a jolt or two.
How we rate: an AI reads what is known about each title and tags it 0 to 3; we check the tags against a hand-rated set and correct them by hand when readers tell us. Estimates, not a scene-by-scene review. Spot a mistake? Tell us.
Vlad Tepes is a great hero, but when he learns the Sultan is preparing for battle and needs to form an army of 1,000 boys, he vows to find a way to protect his family. Vlad turns to dark forces in order to get the power to destroy his enemies and agrees to go from hero to monster as he's turned into the mythological vampire, Dracula.
