Heads up on strong violence. That is past what the TV-Y7 on the box suggests. Beyond that, no swearing and a few tense moments.
Our estimate: fine from about 13, higher than the TV-Y7 suggests, because of the violence.
How we rate: an AI reads what is known about each title and tags it 0 to 3; we check the tags against a hand-rated set and correct them by hand when readers tell us. Estimates, not a scene-by-scene review. Spot a mistake? Tell us.
The most powerful villains on the planet escape from prison. However, none of the superheroes can stop them without help, not even S.H.I.E.L.D. The Avengers then join forces to fight evil, and discover that as a group they are stronger.
It leaves things open rather than tying them up.
