What is The Hateful Eight about?
Bounty hunters seek shelter from a raging blizzard and get caught up in a plot of betrayal and deception.
Does it have a happy ending? (spoiler-safe)
No. Brace yourself.
Stranded bounty hunters find betrayal and dark humor in a snowbound, gritty, and suspenseful Western mystery.
Pulpy and darkly comic, with dry wit. A late-night trip that takes its time. Emotionally it is heavy.

Three questions
- Is The Hateful Eight scary?
- Only a little. The Hateful Eight has a few tense moments, nothing that follows you to bed.
- How gory is The Hateful Eight?
- Graphic gore and brutal violence. If graphic gore is a dealbreaker, skip it.
- What is The Hateful Eight rated, and is it OK for kids?
- Rated R, and it earns it: strong sex and nudity, brutal violence, and frequent strong language. Not one for kids.
